Finding Grace and MercyA few years after I moved to California, my mother was met by a few sisters from the local church in the city where we lived. My mother had been a Christian since she was young. So when our family moved to California, she had the desire to take me and my sisters to a church. When my mother met the sisters of the local church, she was very happy and joyful. The sisters visited her weekly to encourage her to go on with the Lord Jesus. Eventually, my mother, my older sisters and I began to attend the local church meetings on Sundays regularly. Throughout my elementary school years my mother would take me to the children's meetings every Sunday. As I got older, I began to attend meetings for the youth in the local church. For a few years, however, I got so preoccupied with sports, academics, friends, and other activities that I hardly made it to any of the meetings. During that time, I questioned if God was really real and living. It was a turning point in my life - I had to make a choice. By the Lord's mercy, two sisters from a local church in Texas moved in near me. They became a real encouragement to me as well as my companions with whom I could pursue the Lord. This companionship brought me back to the Lord and contributed to my growth in life throughout high school. When I had to choose which college to go to, one deciding factor was whether there was a local church nearby. I felt in my heart that if I went through college meeting with the Christians in the local church I would be spiritually alive. So I attended a university in another city with many college sisters and brothers and this really strengthened me. Now that I have graduated I have given myself to my Lord Jesus to serve him the rest of my life. The Unsearchable Riches of this Ministry Shortly after I was baptized, I attended a conference given by Witness Lee. As a young believer loving the Lord, I needed the Word of God to feed and nourish me. I was excited when I heard about this Bible training with Witness Lee and believers from local churches around the world. Two sisters who were my close companions faithfully brought me to each meeting where I enjoyed the speaking of Witness Lee. His speaking enlightened me the truths of the Bible clearer to me. What I have received and gained from this ministry is priceless. Through it I have gotten to see who the Lord is as unveiled in the Bible. Year after year in various meetings and conferences the Lord's speaking to me through the ministry of Witness Lee has led me to know God's purpose on earth.
